Altar Servers

Youth Server

The Altar Server ministry is open to boys and girls beginning in the 5th grade. The ministry includes lighting candles, carrying the cross, holding the presider’s ritual book, assisting with the preparation of the altar, etc. Interested individuals need to attend a training session, be serious about this ministry and willing to serve when called. The annual time commitment is 10-12 hours per year. Please contact Ken Harouff,  if you are interested in becoming an altar server.

Adult Server

Funeral altar servers are very valuable to St. Margaret Mary. These special men and women assist the priest in the ritual of the funeral Mass in all aspects, such as readings, prayers of the faithful, serving as Eucharistic Ministers if needed, preparing the church, closing after the service, and assisting the families involved as much as possible. To assist in this ministry, please contact M. Delson Craig or Steve Owen.
