Catholic Life Issues

This group promotes the sacredness and goodness of human life by following the groundwork of Catholic Social Teaching and the "Consistent Ethic of Life" from conception to natural death. Concerns include abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia, healthcare, housing, just wages, poverty, stem cell research, etc. This committee strives to promote peace and justice and respect for life through education, advocacy, and special projects throughout the year, including promotion of the JustFaith program. Current outreach is focused on supporting Louisville's Pregnancy Resource Center and maintaining a "sister relationship" with several schools and a Catholic radio station in Peru.
