Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve the Body and Blood of Christ to the Assembly at Mass. They must have received all the Sacraments of Initiation, attend formation sessions and training sessions, and be mandated by the Archbishop. They should be mature Christians, persons of excellent character, who take their faith seriously.
Parish training is done 2 times per year and Archdiocesan training is done periodically. Once trained, you will be asked to serve 2 months in each 6-month period. To inquire about this ministry contact Maria Harouff.
