WELCOME TO
WORSHIP 05
This ministry
strives to build a parish community “where all are welcomed in this
place,” especially at worship. It is our goal to promote a hospitable
atmosphere in all that we do by focusing on the Eucharistic celebration on
the weekend. Individuals who are people–oriented and outgoing are
encouraged to participate in this ministry. The members oversee the
distribution and collection of the Hospitality Cards in the pews. They are
also asked to serve as hosts/hostesses at scheduled liturgies throughout the
year. In this capacity they will arrive early to welcome persons as they
enter church, making themselves available if worshippers, including
newcomers, have questions or needs. Time Commitment: Scheduled times to
“host” at Mass would be about six times a year; scheduled times to
distribute and collect Hospitality Cards about twice a year; and once a year
planning meetings. Chairperson: TBA
