Students Kindergarten through 8th grade who do not attend Catholic school where daily religion classes are taught are invited to learn about the richness of our Catholic faith through our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP).
In PREP, students are introduced to the teachings of the Church, Scripture and Christ. All classes are taught by trained catechists each Sunday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:35 p.m. The registration form (linked below) can be turned into the Parish Office or to Tara Mattingly.
Please inquire with Tara Mattingly, Children’s Formation Coordinator for more information.
Attention Parents! Are you Interested in becoming a catechist or assistant in the classroom? Contact Tara Mattingly for more information. We would love to have you join our team. All volunteers must be up to date on their SAFE Training from the Archdiocese. Click here to see when the next SAFE Training class is scheduled!
Please be a gift to a child this year and give of your time as a catechist to the PREP program on Sunday Mornings. Assistants are needed as well. Passing on the traditions, beliefs and practices of our Catholic faith to our youngest members of the Church is a gift that will be given for generations to come. Don’t be intimidated by the thought of teaching. We will supply you with the training resources you need to be a successful catechist. For more information contact Tara in the parish office; 690-2851 or tmattingly@stmm.org
